講者簡介:
For many, Cheung Man-yee is a household name. She walked with us as
we grew
up, through the golden 70s when Hong Kong’s economy took off, to the
booming 80s and the turbulent 90s.
A distinguished public servant and media professional, Ms Cheung was
the
first Chinese to be appointed Director of Broadcasting. In 1988, she
became
the first woman and first person from Asia Pacific to be elected President
of the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association.
At the dinner talk on Friday, 6 January 2006, Ms Cheung will share
with us
her experience in broadcasting and her views on its evolving ecology.
All full members and student members are welcome and please RSVP by
